«Sami Linna Quartet»

Their music is based on the wonderful blend of each musician's individual style. Jussi Kannaste's flowing approach on tenor sax complements the ethereal guitar lines, while Giorgos Kontrafouris on the instrument adds a strong bluesy element. All this is gathered around the active but also tasteful drumming of Jussi Lehtonen. The group is a relatively new formation, but its musicians have worked together for years on various occasions. Linna and Lehtonen appeared together on G. Kontrafouri's album "Little Daddy's Blues", which was released last year.
