Tele-Port

Through electrifying rhythms and multi-dimensional soundscapes, Tele-port make the kind of jazz that feels like it’s exploding into space. Based out of Luxemburg and London, the quartet’s dynamic mix of groove-driven chants, improvised supernovas and adventurous experiments upends your expectations of what contemporary jazz should sound like. The band is made up of radical saxophonist Zhenya Strigalev and three stalwarts of the Luxembourg jazz scene: bassist Pol Belardi, multifaceted keyboardist Jérôme Klein and explosive drummer Jeff Herr. When they take the stage, their music makes space and time melt away and teleportation feel possible.
