Teun Verbruggen “Warped Dreamer”

Teun Verbruggen started playing drums at the age of eight. Initially he turned to rock, but he found real satisfaction as a musician in jazz and improvisational music. This led him to the Brussels Conservatory, where he finished his studies in 1999 and began collaborating with artists in different musical genres. His desire to discover his personal path, exploring every possible direction, through the drums, directed him to new sounds with the freedom of improvisation. Alongside his innumerable collaborations, Teun Verbruggen works on his own projects that go beyond the limits of jazz, in the area of punk, noise, free, etc., with which he makes frequent tours to festivals throughout the people. We have seen him many times at the European Jazz Festival in Athens with Alexi Tuomarila, Jef Neve and others, which proves that he is one of the most sought after drummers and musicians on the Belgian scene.
