Klarisa M. Jovanovic, a singer of exceptional quality, of mixed descent, from Istria and Montenegro, has passionately immersed herself in the traditional musics of the Balkans (including Greek, which she studied as a graduate student in Thessaloniki and Athens). Searching for the essence of the traditional songs of Yugoslavia (and not only), he highlights their quality in a modern jazz context, combining them with other Mediterranean traditions. In constant collaboration with the Slovenian guitarist and composer Zarko Zivkovic and two excellent musicians, the creator presents a wide and original program of traditional Slovenian songs as well as original artistic compositions, based on the sounds and rhythms of the Balkans
