Virtual J@zz Reality

The brainchild of the versatile Piotr Iwicki – a musician who is involved in both contemporary and classical music – the group Virtual J@zz Reality is one of the most creative formations of today's Polish jazz scene. Stylistically, it plays on a broad spectrum of electric fusion with elements of funk, drum 'n' bass and nu-jazz – leading critics to liken it to acts drawing their experiences from the funktronik direction of Herbie Hancock and reach as far as the club-jazz of US3. The group Virtual J@zz Reality is in demand – which is proven through constant tours in Europe and the USA and of course with consistent appearances at historic Polish festival events such as Jazz Jamboree and Warsaw Summer Jazz Days. Piotr Iwicki's artistic intention is to keep the group always interesting and forward, with music that responds to today - but keeps a firm touch with tradition.
