Vlado Kreslin & Mati Bogovi

Vlado Kreslin and his "Little Gods"! It may sound like a humorous exaggeration – but Kreslin belongs to the "old caravans" of the (former) Yugoslav music scene. Since the 70s, when he emerged as a musician with a rock background and direction, he has developed into one of Slovenia's most popular singers and songwriters. Towards the end of the 80s his music was enriched with themes from the rich folk tradition of his native country and, gradually, he developed this direction – combined with strong influences from blues and jazz, making a musical mix with a strong national ID card. The concerts of Vlado Kreslin and his group are based on the coexistence of many different musical styles that work with an amazing sense of unity on a general jazz framework.
