Joost Lijbaart on drums, Tony Overwater on acoustic bass and Yuri Honing on saxophones have been together since 1990, and their trio has during this time managed to become one of the best-known Dutch groups of the new generation of jazz. Touring in more than 15 countries around the world, he "built" a unique personal style, based on absolute communication, interesting musical approach and team spirit. His music is based on a variety of influences and is always dynamic and meaningful. Each group member contributes equally to the group. Joost Lijbaart mixes African elements and modern drumming while Tony Overwater plays bass using the whole instrument and not just its strings.
