When in 1986 Leto Voyatzoglou released her first album, "Tili, Tili, Tili", it was clear that we had a genuine artistic presence and creative voice in the field of Greek jazz. This album, with French musicians and recorded in France (where she had been based for the previous 10 years, studying jazz and improvisation, playing and teaching at the same time), stood out for its quality and, above all, made it clear that Leto had a special compositional ability, which combined original melodic virtues with the structuring of modern jazz. The limited release of "Tili, Tili, Tili" but also a general change in the musical "morals" of our country, resulted in Leto Voyatzoglou turning more to teaching music and producing radio shows, doing only limited and selected live performances appearances and one more recording participation. In recent years, she has been systematically working on her music, together with her old and new collaborators, such as drummer Nikos Siderokastritis, saxophonist Yiannis Papanastasiou and bassist Petros Varthakouris, resulting in a nice and strong team / group, which plays well and original Greek jazz...
